AventWest Children's Mentoring is an after school tutoring and mentoring program for at-risk and economically disadvantaged students in Kindergarten through grade 11 residing in the AventWest neighborhood near NC State University. The program is sponsored by the AventWest Community Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and was started in January 1999. Financial support for the Children's Mentoring program is through grants and community, church and individual donations.

Please consider making a donation to our program. Your support is greatly appreciated and will be acknowledged by a letter that can be used for tax purposes.
